The Position The Product Owner for Cloud and Hosting plays a pivotal role in defining and driving the development, implementation, and optimization of cloud and hosting solutions that meet organizational objectives and customer needs. This individual is responsible for setting a strategic vision, prioritizing cloud-based features, managing hosting services, and ensuring effective delivery aligned with business stakeholder value. Acting as the primary interface and single point of contact with senior business leadership, the role ensures seamless integration and optimal performance within digital operations. External Relationships: Cloud service providers and hosting solution vendors Technology consultants and strategic partners Major Responsibilities Product Vision and Roadmap Define, communicate, and execute a clear and compelling cloud and hosting strategy aligned with business and stakeholder objectives. Identify opportunities in cloud computing, hosting services, and infrastructure as a service (IaaS). Maintain a strategic technology roadmap for cloud and hosting infrastructure. Evaluate and propose emerging cloud technologies and hosting solutions. Articulate the value proposition of cloud and hosting products clearly to internal stakeholders. Requirements Definition and Prioritization Gather, document, and prioritize user requirements and product features focused on cloud and hosting solutions. Engage closely with stakeholders to capture customer needs, market trends, and business priorities. Maintain a prioritized backlog of cloud and hosting features and enhancements. Define and clearly articulate user stories and acceptance criteria for cloud and hosting initiatives. Technology Solution and Delivery Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud engineering, and vendor teams to ensure technology solutions are effectively designed, developed, and delivered on time and within budget. Provide strategic oversight, guidance, and clarity to teams during implementation. Monitor delivery progress, proactively addressing and mitigating impediments. Stakeholder Communication Act as the liaison between senior business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring alignment and transparency. Regularly update stakeholders on cloud and hosting project statuses, outcomes, and strategic alignment. Foster effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement across departments. Usability and Experience Ensure cloud and hosting solutions are intuitive, reliable, and align with business operational needs. Capture feedback, identifying and driving usability and performance improvements. Prioritize cloud features and hosting services enhancements based on experience and business impact. Product Performance and Optimization Define, track, and analyse performance metrics and KPIs for cloud and hosting solutions. Utilize data-driven insights to identify continuous improvement opportunities. Champion initiatives aimed at enhancing product performance and operational efficiency. Compliance and Risk Management Ensure cloud and hosting solutions adhere strictly to regulatory, compliance, and cybersecurity standards. Identify and proactively mitigate cloud technology-related risks. Collaborate closely with compliance, security, and risk management teams. People Management Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to cloud and hosting team members. Cultivate a collaborative, innovative, and agile team environment. Facilitate professional development and encourage continuous learning within the team. Key Deliverables Quantitative KPIs: Timely, budget-conscious, and scope-aligned delivery of cloud and hosting projects. Number of incidents and service disruptions related to cloud and hosting services. Adoption and satisfaction levels for cloud and hosting solutions. Net Promoter Score (NPS) for cloud and hosting products. Qualitative KPIs: Effectiveness and clarity of cloud and hosting strategy and roadmap. Alignment of delivered technology solutions with stakeholder expectations. Improved organizational agility, scalability, and competitive advantage through cloud and hosting services. Qualifications Education/Training Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) highly advantageous. Certification in product management or Agile methodologies beneficial. Experience: 10-15 years of experience in product ownership specifically related to cloud and hosting. Demonstrated track record delivering cloud-based products and hosting solutions. Familiarity with cloud platforms, hosting environments, and infrastructure management. Proficiency with Agile methodologies and vendor management. #J-18808-Ljbffr
