Job Summary Due to K2's expansion, the APAC technical and delivery team is looking to hire an Assistant Project Manager (Mechanical) to support external design team management and design review work. This person will work closely with the SG HQ-based PM to handle daily design-related issues for existing and future projects in the APAC region. Key Responsibilities Assist the Project Manager or Site Delivery Manager in data‐centre design and construction phases for site management and construction quality control. Monitor construction activities regularly to ensure the data‐centre facility is built to the group's standard. Review and approve design consultant work to ensure design documents are fully developed with all necessary engineering calculations. Communicate with design consultants to ensure all required deliverables are achieved. Maintain K2 internal engineering standards, with particular focus on HVAC and plumbing systems. Support project commissioning and final handover activities. Support K2 internal engineering design and development activities. Establish engineering and operation procedures in line with K2 standards. Working Environment Walking job sites with uneven terrain. Work at heights. Work in noisy environments. Work in confined spaces. Regularly lift and/or move items and participate in group lifts. Work shifts longer than eight hours. Coordinate body movements when using tools or equipment. May require bending or twisting to access equipment while working. Involves performing physical tasks all day. Use hands to manipulate small wires and objects. Push or pull objects into position. Key Requirements At least 6 years of experience in building services design and construction project delivery (data‐centre projects preferred). Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering. Chartered Engineer preferred. Relevant Uptime/TIA certificates preferred. Good knowledge of Electrical HV/LV distribution engineering and understanding of data‐centre project and protection study. Proficiency in MS Office and mechanical HVAC software such as IES. Good command of written and spoken English. Additional language skills such as Chinese and/or Bahasa Indonesia/Malaysia preferred. Active, initiative‐driven, conscientious, sociable, flexible and optimistic. Interpersonal Requirements Committed to delivering excellent customer service. Calm manner, able to work under pressure. Self‐motivated, able to work on own initiative. Punctual and reliable. Good attention to detail.
