MES Engineer Role

We are a leading manufacturer of semiconductor wafers seeking talented individuals to develop and implement MES solutions that drive production efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Our ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize MES systems to streamline workflows, boost manufacturing output, and minimize operational disruptions. They will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve MES capabilities and align with long-term operational objectives.

  • Develop customized MES solutions that meet evolving production requirements, ensuring maximum efficiency and minimal downtime.
  • Lead MES projects from initiation to conclusion, defining scope, managing timelines, and providing regular progress updates.
  • Monitor MES performance, identify potential system issues, and implement preventive measures to minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Collaborate with production and IT teams to improve MES capabilities and align with long-term operational objectives.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in MES system development and optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages (C++, Java, C#, Python).
  • Experience with SQL, data modeling, and performance tuning (DB2, Oracle).
  • Proven track record in MES system development, integration, and optimization.
  • Unix/Linux and shell scripting skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
