Position Summary The incumbent will assist the Bell Desk and Security in the day‐to‐day operations and carry out all tasks with high service standards. Primary Responsibilities Security Perform Security Tasks including static duties at the Security & Fire Command Centre. Handle fire alarm system and emergency responses. Operate security CCTV surveillance system. Screen and vet all visitors, delivery men and contractors at security check points. Maintain a neat and operationally viable work area and prevent unauthorised entry. Lobby Duties Interact with guests and provide assistance in hospitality matters including safety and security (e.g., luggage safety, provide guests with information and services). Ensure safety of guests' arrivals and departures, especially elderly and PWD. Control crowd flow and prevent unnecessary congestion. Multi‐task for guest convenience and safety (e.g., avoid slippery floor, assist with guest luggage, taxi & shuttle services). Traffic Post Directing tour buses and assist in parking arrangement. Prevent traffic congestion at front driveway. Manage reserved parking lots for VVIP arrivals. Assist to ease traffic congestion during busy periods. Security Patrol & Audit Checks Conduct systematic security patrol on entire premises. Observe and report fire safety infringement and risk assessment. Deter and detect unauthorised persons on guest floors and within hotel sensitive areas. Report all abnormal circumstances and findings. Investigate, surveil and perform administrative duties, including monitoring employee and guest behaviour. Maintain record of any removal of hotel property and ensure proper documentation. Update Security/Duty Manager on security incidents and maintain official correspondence. Maintain all standard certifications and know emergency drills (fire, bomb threat, IPP, terrorist attack, etc.). Other work‐related directives as assigned by management. Guest Services Assist with check‐in and check‐out when front desk team are engaged. Manage queues in lobby and engage with guests at all times. Ensure guests and their personal belongings are safely kept during arrival and departure processes. Ensure proper deployment to cover guest safety issues for car park, front‐driveway, lobby and luggage holding areas. Provide information about local attractions such as shopping, dining, nightlife and recreational destinations. Make travel arrangements for sightseeing and tours if required. Make dining and other reservations for guests and obtain tickets for events. Receive, store and deliver luggage, mail and items for guests or hotel patrons. Talent Profile Complete WSQ/PLRD Security Core Modules certifications. Complete Fire Safety & First‐Aid/AED certifications. Experience in Hotel Security works is preferred with good report writing.
