Job Overview

The role of Enterprise Infrastructure Specialist is a crucial part of our company's success. This position involves setting up, configuring, and maintaining enterprise platforms that support application development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Key responsibilities include managing platform infrastructure, ensuring smooth application coordination, providing production support, and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation.

This includes overseeing the setup and configuration of Common Services instances by the Government Commercial Cloud Infrastructure (GCCI) operator, ensuring compliance with project and security requirements.

The Enterprise Infrastructure Specialist will also design, develop, and maintain integrations between Common Services and external systems or services, as well as implement DevSecOps practices by embedding security throughout the CI/CD pipeline.

Additionally, this specialist will monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, ensuring scalability, resilience, and security.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, security, and infrastructure, is essential to align DevSecOps practices with organizational objectives.

Technical guidance, mentorship, and best practices will be provided to teams on DevSecOps adoption.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.

Proven experience in DevOps/DevSecOps engineering with hands-on expertise in CI/CD pipelines, automation, and containerization is necessary.

Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS, Azure, and GCP, is essential, with GCCI experience being preferred.

Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform/CloudFormation, and configuration management tools, such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef, is required.

Familiarity with security tools, including SAST, DAST, and vulnerability management, and integrating them into DevOps workflows is necessary.

Solid understanding of governance frameworks, compliance requirements, and secure system design is essential.

Proficiency in scripting/programming languages, such as Python, Bash, Go, or similar, is required.

Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills are essential.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with enterprise-scale platforms is highly desirable.
