Job Title: Trade Operations Coordinator

Job Description

Overview:

As a Trade Operations Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of trade operations and on-time deliveries.

  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Establish close relationships with headquarters, suppliers, and customers to ensure efficient communication and timely delivery of goods.
  • Manage Orders and Schedules: Effectively manage incoming orders from vendors and track shipment schedules for accuracy and compliance.
  • Review Contracts and Arrange Letters of Credit: Carefully review purchase contracts and arrange Letters of Credit (LCs) when required.
  • Prepare and Coordinate Trade Documentation: Assist in preparing and coordinating trade documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and Bills of Lading (B/L), for submission to forwarders and customers.
  • Process Purchase Orders and Sales Transactions: Process Purchase Orders (POs), manage return shipments, and record sales transactions using SAP software.
  • Handle Accounts Payable and Receivable Functions: Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions for each trade transaction.
  • Perform Month-End Closing Activities: Perform month-end closing activities and generate operational and financial reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education and Experience: A diploma or higher qualification with at least 2 years of experience in customer service, process sales order handling, and BL management is required.

Key Skills:

  • Strong Knowledge: Strong knowledge in handling shipments, shipping documentations, Microsoft Office, quotation management, and procurement is essential.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word is necessary.
