SOC Infra Engineer Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled SOC Infra Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for delivering technical expertise on solutioning, deployment, upgrade, and maintenance of network infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers, customers, vendors, and support teams to provide technical guidance on solutioning, deployment, upgrade, and maintenance of network infrastructure projects.
- Assist in monitoring project schedules and communications with stakeholders and external vendors to ensure timely and successful implementation and acceptance.
- Ensure quality oversight for processes and project deliverables, ensuring compliance to prevailing security and governance requirements.
- Support the smooth transition of implemented infrastructure from project implementation phase to operation & maintenance phase.
- Organize and participate in meetings with stakeholders and vendors.
- Participate in project reviews and post-mortems.
- Provide relevant inputs for project reporting and updates.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 3-4 years of working experience in the Information Technology industry, preferably in one or more areas such as configuring, monitoring, recovery, troubleshooting, diagnosis, system maintenance of IT infrastructures involving server, firewall, network equipment.
- Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows and UNIX systems.
- Experience in liaising with users and managing vendors to define business requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Technical certification in networking (e.g. CCNA, CCNP) is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and analytical capability to resolve technical issues.
- A resourceful, proactive, and independent team player.
