Purpose of the Role
To develop and execute effective marketing and promotional strategies that strengthen brand presence, increase customer engagement, and support the company's commercial objectives. The role requires strategic thinking, creativity, and strong leadership capabilities to ensure impactful delivery across all marketing touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Planning
  • Formulate and implement annual marketing and promotional plans in alignment with business goals.
  • Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking to identify market trends and opportunities.
  • Support senior management in defining marketing budgets and setting performance indicators.
Promotional Campaigns
  • Plan, coordinate and execute integrated promotional campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Liaise with agencies, suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely and cohesive campaign execution.
  • Manage budgets and measure the effectiveness of campaigns, making recommendations for improvements.
Brand Management
  • Uphold consistent branding across all communications, both online and offline.
  • Oversee the production of marketing collateral including brochures, posters, digital creatives and advertisements.
  • Act as a brand guardian, ensuring tone, visuals and messaging are aligned with company standards.
Events & Partnerships
  • Plan and manage marketing events, exhibitions, roadshows and public engagements.
  • Develop partnerships and collaborations to enhance brand exposure and create added value.
Team Leadership
  • Supervise and guide the marketing team in day-to-day activities and long-term development.
  • Foster collaboration across departments such as Sales, Product Development and Customer Service.
Reporting & Analytics
  • Monitor the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and present insights to senior management.
  • Provide regular reports on ROI, campaign metrics, and promotional performance.
Candidate Requirements
  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a marketing role, including 2 years in a leadership or managerial position.
  • Demonstrable experience in campaign planning, brand development and event coordination.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task under pressure.
Desirable Attributes
  • Experience in travel / tourism.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Knowledge of CRM systems, analytics tools, and digital advertising platforms.
