Reputable healthcare organisation Competitive remuneration Great career exposure Responsibilities As a Ophthalmologist (Vitreoretinal), you will be responsible for the following duties: Diagnose and manage a full range of retinal diseases including diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal vein occlusions, retinal detachments, and other vitreoretinal disorders. Perform surgical procedures including vitrectomy, retinal detachment repair, macular surgery, etc. Provide intravitreal injections and laser treatments as clinically indicated. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including general ophthalmologists and optometrists. Participate in shared on-call coverage (if applicable). Maintain accurate and timely medical records using EMR. Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and prognoses. Participate in clinical research and teaching opportunities (if applicable). Qualifications Requirements: Medical degree from an accredited institution. Recognized postgraduate qualification in ophthalmology, such as the MMed (Ophthalmology) or FRCOphth. Eligible for full Medical and Specialist registration by the Singapore Medical Council. Fellowship training in vitreoretinal surgery. Excellent surgical and diagnostic skills.
