MAIN PURPOSE The Regional Regulatory Affairs & Quality Management Manager is responsible for developing strategies and executing plans for Regulatory Affairs work across all SAPAC brands/product categories. In addition, the candidate also provides support for future innovation across all our brands via Regulatory intelligence. The incumbent needs to ensure the smooth launch of cosmetic products (consider strategy, advise, create process for getting product license/advertisement approvals and be able to precisely check the correctness of documents) in the region. The incumbent will also need to work on projects related to Quality Management in the region to support Shiseido group quality. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop strategies and plans for ensuring regulatory compliance of all brands across the APAC region Ensure accuracy and timely preparation of cosmetic product documents to local affiliates and distributors for product notification/registration Check the correctness of documents received from HQs Assist in checking the details of local regulation and other regulation concerning the matter Update ingredient restriction database based on amendment of regulations Attend to correspondent request from regulatory in local affiliates and distributors Provide advice on regulatory points for APAC Advertisement Keep abreast of new regulation and support for APAC markets to ensure compliance Support product innovation via regulatory intelligence Timely completion of surveys related to regulations to support future innovation Proactively work with markets to understand evolving regulations and conduct impact assessment Provide accurate and timely support to local affiliates and distributors regarding regulatory and quality inquiries from local authorities, consumers, retailers and other stakeholders Ensure claim/advertisement compliance in cooperation with Asia Pacific Innovation Center as for inquiries from APAC Market, Global Innovation Center and other relevant stakeholders. Support regional quality team to manage quality control Develop plans for work process improvement and simplification on regular basis REQUIREMENTS At least a bachelor's degree in any relevant science related discipline from a recognized tertiary institution At least 8 years of experience in regulatory affairs, with 3 years in the cosmetic/beauty industry Experience in Quality Management will be an added advantage Have related science/technical knowledge (ingredient, formulation, safety)Must be interested in regulatory affairs and possess positive learning attitude Self-motivated, organized and highly energized to work on multiple projects at same time and with speed Open to take up more responsibilities as per evolving department needs Must possess analytical skills and sound issue management capabilities Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong command of the English language Able to travel on a need's basis We are proud to be certified as a Great Place to Work in Singapore — a testament to our commitment to employee experience and workplace culture. #J-18808-Ljbffr
