About the Organization
My client is an innovative and rapidly expanding tech social and commerce platform that seamlessly integrates social networking, instant messaging, and blockchain-driven commerce within a secure ecosystem. Their goal is to create next-generation digital communities where individuals and businesses can connect, transact, and collaborate safely.
They are currently seeking a Strategy Consultant / Business Manager to lead strategy implementation, manage operations, and assist the leadership team in scaling the business on a global scale.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
Collaborate with the CEO and founders to manage daily operations, decision-making, and cross-departmental coordination.
Ensure alignment of licensing, compliance, and commercial priorities across Singapore and other jurisdictions (MY, HK, UAE, JP, VN).
Build and maintain operational SOPs and escalation frameworks to support regulatory compliance.
Business Strategy & Execution
Convert strategic objectives into actionable business plans, tracking KPIs and financial metrics to evaluate performance and identify enhancement opportunities.
Prepare jurisdiction-specific operating playbooks and ensure readiness for merchant acquiring and cross-border operations.
Project & Stakeholder Management
Oversee high-priority strategic projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with company objectives.
Act as a liaison between internal teams (Product, Marketing, Finance, Compliance) and external stakeholders to enhance communication and drive execution.
Vendor & Cost Management
Manage vendor relationships, ensuring SLAs are met and optimizing contracts to align spending with licensing and revenue milestones.
Identify and mitigate operational risks across multiple regulatory environments.
Organizational Development
Build dashboards, KPIs, and reporting packs for visibility to the CEO and Board, mentoring cross-functional managers to drive performance delivery.
Foster a culture of accountability and execution discipline, preparing the organization for scalable growth.
Business Development & Partnerships
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform growth opportunities and assess commercial impacts.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field
3 years+ of experience in business management, strategy, consulting, or operations (experience in Web3, fintech, consumer tech, or e-commerce is a plus).
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proven record of executing strategies.
Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills; experience preparing reports for C-level executives and/or investors.
Entrepreneurial, resourceful, and highly adaptable, thriving in a high-growth startup environment.
Passionate about Web3, blockchain, or digital platforms, with a solid understanding of emerging technologies and ecosystems.
