Responsibilities Design, Implement, and Maintain enterprise‑grade network security architectures, managing firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco FTD, FortiGate), VPNs, SD‑WAN, and cloud security solutions for global networks. Take ownership of network security incidents, resolving complex problems related to VPN tunneling, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and multi‑cloud environments, with a focus on critical uptime and security posture. Oversee the secure integration of cloud‑based networking solutions including Azure VNets, AWS VPCs, and hybrid network configurations, ensuring optimal security compliance (NIST, ISO 27001, Zero Trust). Leverage Python, Ansible, and Terraform to automate network configurations, security monitoring, and compliance auditing, reducing manual overhead and enhancing operational efficiency. Partner with SOC and cloud teams to drive incident response processes, identify root causes, and implement security enhancements. Ensure the best practices in firewall management (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Check Point) with particular emphasis on policy optimization, redundancy, and scalability. Manage large‑scale migrations, ensuring secure and efficient transitions to SD‑WAN, cloud‑based services, and next‑gen network fabrics (Cisco ACI). Regularly conduct security reviews, audits, and performance assessments for network devices, ensuring compliance with global security standards and proactive risk management. Lead and engage with vendors, internal stakeholders, and external partners for infrastructure upgrades, service continuity, and problem resolution. Guide junior engineers, providing mentorship in network security operations and advanced troubleshooting. Requirements 15+ years of hands‑on experience in the network security domain, including expertise in Palo Alto, Cisco FTD, FortiGate, and Check Point firewalls. Advanced understanding of VPNs, SD‑WAN technologies (DMVPN, Cisco SD‑WAN, Versa SD‑WAN), and cloud‑based networking solutions across Azure, AWS, and OCI. Proven ability to lead complex network security projects, from design through to operational implementation. Deep familiarity with network segmentation, security policies, and firewall rule management for large enterprise environments. Strong scripting abilities in Python and Ansible to automate network security processes and maintain high levels of efficiency. Hands‑on experience with Cisco ACI, Viptela SD‑WAN, and Cisco DNA Center for SDN‑based network management. Expert in routing and switching protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and VXLAN. Ability to work under pressure with a solutions‑focused mindset in mission‑critical environments. Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead incident resolution efforts. Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Hands‑on experience with cloud‑native security solutions and multi‑cloud network architectures. Demonstrated expertise in SD‑WAN migrations, Cato Networks and Versa SD‑WAN. #J-18808-Ljbffr
