The school now has an exciting opportunity for a Relief Teacher (Physical Education)to join our Early Years team. About the Role The role of the PE Teacher is essentially to build and maintain a successful Physical and Health Education program within the school by providing an educational atmosphere conducive to learning and developing through the process of inquiry and in conjunction with the International Baccalaureate PYP programs. Responsibilities Note: The description below reflects the focus of the role as a Relief PE Teacher within the Early Years team and the program scope. Build and maintain a Physical Education program aligned with school goals and IB PYP practices. Foster inquiry-based learning and student wellbeing through age-appropriate PE activities. Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate movement and health concepts into the broader curriculum. Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating physical education environment for young learners. Position Requirements At least 3 years of experience in working with children as a Physical and Health Education teacher with relevant qualifications Curriculum development knowledge is required Knowledge and experience teaching in the IB PYP would be advantageous Possess highly developed interpersonal and teamwork skills Excellent verbal and written English skills Good references on request Proficient in using computers Demonstrates the Stamford Values – Integrity, Courage, Ingenuity and Compassion Qualifications Minimum Bachelor's degree in Education or equivalent is required Current Teacher Certification Master's degree in Education preferred Please click here for the full job description.
