Responsibilities
Vet Nurse
- Evaluate and facilitate the admission process for new pets/animals.
- Provide support for anaesthesia monitoring and recovery during emergency situations.
- Assist emergency veterinarians with care and treatment of hospitalized animals.
- Oversee and monitor critical animals closely.
- Perform radiographic imaging to assist diagnosis and treatment.
- Safely restrain animals during exams and treatments.
- Prepare patients for surgeries and manage post-operative care including bandaging and recovery.
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with clients regarding treatment and care.
Vet Surgeon
- Perform medical examinations, diagnoses, and treatments for a wide range of animals.
- Conduct surgical procedures including routine and complex operations.
- Prescribe medications, administer vaccines, and provide preventive care.
- Interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, ultrasounds, and lab results.
- Provide professional advice and guidance to pet owners on animal health, nutrition, and care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in line with clinic/hospital standards.
- Work collaboratively with veterinary nurses, technicians, and support staff to deliver high-quality care.
- Participate in on-call/rotational emergency duties as required.
Requirements
- Candidate with Diploma/Degree in Veterinary are welcome to apply.
