: We are seeking an experienced and talented product management professional to play a contributing role on our Shipping / Freight & Commodity Flows team within S&P Global Commodity Insights' Fuels, Chemicals & Resource Solutions group. In this role, you will help develop and execute road maps for a digital, customer-centric portfolio of commodity, fleet, freight and trade-related information offerings and also work closely with a wide variety of teams including research, technology and commercial to develop and complete successful projects that help to solve problems for external and internal customers.
The Impact:
The role will be primarily focused on working very closely with product management leadership, research and technology teams to develop and execute product roadmaps in the service of our vast customer base, in alignment with broader product strategy and as influenced by voice-of-customer. We operate in a very process-oriented environment that relies on the Agile methodology supported heavily by both internal committees and project management tools such as AzureDevOps, and your ability to support these processes and project management teams effectively will be a big driver of your success.
Responsibilities:
Help to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on product management priorities, external and internal feedback, business requirements and internal goals.
Collaborate with internal teams, SMEs and stakeholders to identify product requirements and prioritize feature development.
Help product and technology project teams to execute on roadmaps on the following areas: commodity and freight trading information support tools, geo spatial visualization, real-time analytics dashboards, search, alerts etc.
Help technology teams to execute on platform roadmap using your sound technical and project management skills, being ready to help refine user stories, manage a backlog and understand priorities and dependencies within a scrum agile methodology
Define success metrics and use data to drive decision-making and present technical points of view to management
Present web platform achievements to internal stakeholders: conduct demos that merge technical and functional topics into consistent demos. Use your excellent communication skills to be the best advocate of our product solutions
What we're looking for:
Experience :
3+ years product management experience as a Product Manager with functional background in system design and agile software development and preferably at a freight and/or commodity information, utility, oil/gas, or financial technology company
Project management skills: You will understand when a sense of urgency is required, you will be comfortable with scheduling and planning, and you can efficiently and effectively guide a group towards a goal. You will be comfortable working under pressure and can juggle multiple projects at the same time.
Demonstrated experience of successful delivery and execution on scope, in time, and on budget for tangible deliverables and success metrics.
Experience with both Agile Scrum and Lean methodologies
Must be able to effectively communicate with third parties including clients, partners, vendors and a wide variety of internal stakeholders across multiple levels of the business.
Mandarin language fluency preferred

A decisive and very collaborative nature with experience demonstrating and the ability to influence, negotiate and challenge
Comfort working remotely with international teams across time zones including at least a few evenings per week
Occasional in-region and international travel is required.
