This includes driving upgrades to improve OEE, reduce downtime, enhance process capabilities, and support new product conversions. About The Role - You Will Lead and manage complex technical assignments in the electrical design and development of disk media processing equipment. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment. Drive design reviews, ensuring compliance with safety standards for high voltage/high power systems. Oversee troubleshooting and root cause analysis using advanced test equipment (oscilloscopes, network analyzers, frequency generators). Architect and optimize cable and PCB designs for vacuum components (gauges, MFCs, valves, turbo controllers). Design, upgrade and troubleshoot Power Distribution Units (PDU) for disk processing equipment. Champion configuration control using software tools (SAP, Windchill) and ensure robust documentation practices. Design and implement industrial networks (Beckhoff & Siemens), including EtherCAT, Profinet & ProfiBUS for equipment integration. Develop and validate programmable logic controller (PLC) hardware solutions and safety interlocks for equipment reliability. Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, software, process, and manufacturing teams to deliver innovative solutions. Lead projects from concept to completion, managing timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations. About You Demonstrate innovation, integrity, and inclusion in all aspects of work.
