Job Overview:

This role is focused on the design and development of hardware products. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electronics engineering and be able to drive performance, functionality, cost optimization, test efficiency, manufacturability, and quality in products delivered.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive product development from concept to delivery, ensuring that products meet all necessary specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Engage in development and maintenance activities, including troubleshooting of designs, design for testability, and creation of design/product documentation.
  • Conduct validation/compliance tests and generate test plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related qualification.
  • 3-5 years' relevant electronics product design and testing experience in areas such as microprocessor/microcontroller system design, memory system designs, logic design for FPGA/CPLD/PAL devices, electronic board level design, Ethernet and USB design, digital electronics power supply circuits, signal integrity measurements, and product testing for environmental and certification test standards.
  • Experience with design tools for schematic capture and PCB layout, board level and system level design verification test, EMI noise reduction techniques/countermeasures, and testing to EMC/EMI regulatory certifications.
  • Candidates with experience in functional safety product development with IEC 61508 will have an added advantage.
