Job Description: Air-con Engineering Technician / Air-con Engineering Technician cum Driver Installation, Maintenance & Servicing, Repair & Troubleshooting, Customer Service and Safety & Compliance. Responsibilities Installation – Install air‐conditioning systems (split unit, VRV/VRF, central units) and connect piping, wiring and ventilation according to design specifications. Maintenance & Servicing – Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance, clean filters, check refrigerant levels and test controls and calibrations. Repair & Troubleshooting – Diagnose faults in electrical, refrigerant or mechanical systems and replace or repair faulty components such as compressors, thermostats, motors, etc. Customer Service – Explain issues and solutions clearly to clients and provide recommendations on upgrades or replacement if necessary. Safety & Compliance – Follow safety guidelines and environmental regulations (especially regarding refrigerants like R‐410A, R‐32) and maintain service logs and work orders. Education/Certification Secondary school education (O‐level or equivalent), ITE certification, Diploma in Air‐Conditioning & Refrigeration, or equivalent. Certifications: WSQ or BCA certifications. Preferred: Driving license class 3.
