Role: Senior Risk and Control Analyst

This 1st Line of Defence role contributes to the overall risk management and control framework across six core markets and five brokerage units. The Generalist will lead risk identification, assessment, and mitigation efforts, ensuring alignment with the Group's risk appetite across Customer Centre, Self-Service Banking, Retail Ops, Wealth Ops, Brokerage Ops, and Service Provider Governance. This role requires strong collaboration with location and other regional risk units.
Key Accountabilities
Across the units in Group Consumer Banking:
1. Risk Management & Mitigation: Lead risk identification, assessment, and mitigation activities, ensuring alignment with the organization's risk appetite. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and report on performance to senior leadership.
2. Control Oversight & Testing: Conduct periodic risk reviews and key risk indicator analysis to ensure the effectiveness of internal controls. Oversee remediation of control gaps.
3. Vendor Management: Drive governance over outsourced service providers (OSPs), including risk assessment, contract management, and performance monitoring. Ensure compliance with regulatory expectations.
4. Risk Culture & Training: Champion a strong risk culture by supporting and training group teams on risk awareness and best practices. Lead risk culture building initiatives.
5. Risk Project Delivery: Contribute to and deliver on risk-related projects & initiatives within agreed timelines.
