Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Embedded Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing Board Support Packages (BSPs) for high-performance network processor SoCs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop BSPs for next-generation network processor SoCs for networking, storage, and security appliances.
  • Develop Linux drivers and kernel modules for Ethernet, DSL, PON, WiFi Modem, Router, and Home Gateway applications.
  • Write firmware code on Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) in microcontrollers.
  • Perform pre- and post-silicon software/firmware/hardware emulation and co-verification.
  • Bring up and validate systems, integrate software, qualify products, optimize performance, and profile system behavior.
  • Support, maintain, and document software APIs, features, and user documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in embedded system development.
  • Experience with embedded system security features is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in C programming language with good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, and Perl.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like SVN, Mercurial, and Git.
  • Excellent understanding of embedded software principles and ability to contribute to architectural designs and trade-offs.
  • Rich experience in Linux kernel/driver development.
  • Good problem-solving skills, teamwork, communication, adaptability, and proactivity.
