The Opportunity
We are looking for Senior / Staff Nurse – Specialty Care (Vascular) to join us for various disciplines to provide high quality patient care.
Responsibilities
Provide support to clinical areas in managing complex vascular wounds
Provide clinical expert knowledge to patient
Support the patients and carer when diagnosed with vascular disease
Be accountable for assessment, planning and delivery of all aspect of patient care with vascular disease
Provide supportive care to assist patient living with vascular disease ensuring that care is personalised and the holistic needs of patient are met
Provide inpatient/outpatient/ community hospital support to vascular patients
Provide education and training, clinical advice and support to patients, relatives and hospital staff
Act as a resource for management of patients with complex wounds to the clinical setting
Comply with the hospital mission, vision and core values
Qualifications
Degree in Nursing or State Registered Nurse certificate
Relevant Advanced Nursing Diploma or equivalent is preferred for candidate applying for the Senior Staff Nurse position
WOCP/WOCN certification is added advantage
Minimum 5 years in clinical practice with 3 years inpatient setting
Experience in managing complex wounds is added advantage
Good interpersonal and communication skills
