About the company
I am currently working with a well-known biotechnology research company. The office is located in Woodlands, with shuttle bus services from multiple MRT stations.
Hybrid working arrangement: 2 days WFH. Working hours are 8am to 5pm, with the possibility to finish early for personal time. May need to participate in 7am US calls.
About the job
Develop WebGL-powered applications for visualization of high-resolution, high-dimension multi-omics data, deployable locally and in the cloud.
Investigate, prototype, and deliver innovative visualization and data analysis solutions.
Maintain a passion for clean code, loose coupling, and clean architectures.
Collaborate closely with bioinformatics scientists, assay scientists, and usability engineers to build visually appealing and intuitive UIs.
Translate high-level requirements into actionable plans and prioritize activities.
Skills and requirements
Min 5 years for Senior level; Min 8 years for Staff level.
Expertise in creating data-intensive web applications with highly interactive graphical elements.
Deep understanding of optimizing computational performance at various levels.
Extensive experience developing front-end user interfaces with React, Angular, WebGL, TypeScript, CSS.
Proficiency with tools for software performance analysis and optimization.
Proven success working in fast-paced team environments, delivering high-quality software using agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
