Roles & Responsibilities

Data Scientist (2-Year Contract | Public Sector | $5000-$7000)

We are seeking a motivated Data Analytics Specialist as a Data Scientist / Data Analyst / BI Analyst to support the design, development, testing, and deployment of data products—including interactive dashboards, reports, and machine learning models. You will work closely with end-users and technical teams to translate business needs into actionable insights, guided by the Product Manager.

Salary: $5,000 – $7,000/month

Industry: Government / Public Sector

Contract Duration: 24 months + AWS + Bonuses (Up to 4 Months)

Location: Bukit Merah

Eligibility: Singaporeans only

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and refine business and technical requirements with stakeholders
  • Build and deploy data analytics solutions using structured frameworks
  • Conduct audits, feasibility assessments, vulnerability scans, and UATs
  • Perform data analysis and trend identification to support decision-making
  • Deliver user support, demos, and documentation aligned with QMS standards
  • Collaborate with platform, database, and integration teams on implementation

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or related fields
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in data analytics or science roles
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficiency in using enterprise tools for dashboards, reporting, and data extraction
