Job Description Dymon Asia is looking for a commodities Portfolio Manager. The skillset needed should be focused on steel and aluminium commodities that cover various exchanges. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of macro-linked factors and can generate alpha through quantitative and discretionary frameworks. Responsibilities Actively managing quantamental driven investment portfolio within across various markets. Analysis of economic and financial indicators across various commodities. Managing portfolio volatility and risk parameters. Ability to understand and articulate views on the portfolio in detail. Conducting fundamental and macroeconomic analysis to complement systematic signals and inform model calibration. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of profitable portfolio management track record, preferably on both buy-side and sell-side environments. Demonstrated experience in hybrid systematic-discretionary commodities trading, with strong knowledge across the metals sector. Proven ability to design, test, and deploy quantitative models using statistical, econometric, or machine‐learning techniques. Strong risk management discipline, including position sizing, drawdown control, and portfolio construction. Must be able to do research independently. Must have a sound investment framework and portfolio management skills. Must know how to risk manage and size positions according to PM level risk limits. Ability to grow a systematic pipeline and infrastructure from scratch. A strong investment process and framework is a must. Quantitative skills in investment process would be an advantage. Advanced programming or quantitative analysis skills (Python, R, MATLAB, etc.) would be advantageous. #J-18808-Ljbffr
