JOB MISSION:
The principal objective of this position is to lead the QC department, plan, organize and carry out tasks related to quality control of raw material and finished product.
This person works closely with cross functional departments on quality-related issues and resolutions. In the same time manage urgencies and relations with other departments, suppliers and customers.
MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS :
Perform raw materials and fragrances quality control (organoleptic and physical-chemical analysis).
Identify and define processes for production to raise the standard of quality.
Oversee and lead investigations on quality issues of internal rejections and customer complaints.
Identify root causes and find solutions for those products that do not meet the standard.
Partner with cross functional departments on quality-related resolutions.
Lead engagement with external customers on quality-related technical queries.
Manage, maintain and continually improve systems to meet customer requirements.
Follow up with customer on incidences after shipping.
Assure all the QC equipment in QC lab is well maintained.
Translates organizational objectives into departmental objectives and develops and optimizes them.
Draws up schedules for the analyses to be carried out considering the capacities of the employees.
Coordinates, coaches, and motivates the team, plans and monitors the human capacity to achieve targeted output.
Promotes and monitors the quality of the department's output.
Lead continuous process improvement, process automation and digitalization to increase efficiency and productivity in APAC.
Work in collaboration with Global Qc team in processes alignment.
EDUCATIONAL AND OTHER SPECIFIC TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
At least Degree in chemistry, biology, food, pharmaceutical field.
Good communication skills in English languages, both verbally and in writing.
AREAS OF EXPERTISE AND YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
5 Years in fragrance companyin a technical or analysis or quality control department, and at least 1-2 years in a management role.
Good at raw materials and/or final product olfactory analysis.
SAP knowledge, chromatograph, densimeter, colorimeter, good practices in laboratory, smelling skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
