Usually put candidates in a fixed shift, meaning if 2nd shift most of the time will be only working 2nd shift; we do not practice shift rotation if not necessary. However, we do occasionally rotate shifts in circumstances where people are on medical leave, annual leave, etc., where candidates will be given advance notice to do shift covering.
