Manufacturing & Quality Specialist – APAC
Actnano is a dynamic materials technology company focused on coatings that protect electronics in water-laden environments. We collaborate with customers to solve challenging problems through rapid innovation and ingenuity.
Role:
Manufacturing & Quality Specialist to support and oversee manufacturing operations across the APAC region, serving as the regional technical expert for process engineering and quality control with a focus on maintaining high manufacturing standards and ensuring products meet customer specifications and delivery expectations.
Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree or higher in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related discipline; 2–5 years’ experience in chemical process or quality engineering. Fluency in English required; proficiency in Mandarin highly desirable. Candidate must be legally allowed to work in Singapore/Malaysia.
Responsibilities
Oversee manufacturing and production at in-region contract manufacturing sites
Conduct on-site process reviews and quality control testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished goods to ensure adherence to quality standards
Lead root cause investigations for quality issues, define and implement CAPA
Drive initiatives to enhance quality, reduce variability, and increase cost efficiency
Develop and implement process monitoring plans using statistical tools (e.g., SPC, Cp/Cpk analysis) to drive continuous improvement and reduce process variability
Contribute to the development and maintenance of SOPs, quality documentation, and manufacturing protocols in alignment with Actnano’s global QMS
Support internal and external audits; familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or similar quality management frameworks is preferred
Extensive travel (~60%) across APAC (China, Malaysia) and to the United States
