Database Admin (SQL, RDBMS, Cloud)

Must have experiences:

Hands-on Experience with RDBMS Platforms

Minimum 5 years of experience managing Oracle , Microsoft SQL Server , and PostgreSQL databases in production environments.

Strong SQL & Performance Optimization Skills

Proven ability to analyze, tune, and optimize SQL queries and scripts, advise developers, perform indexing , and conduct root cause analysis on performance issues.

Cloud & Automation Proficiency

Experience managing cloud-based databases , optimizing for scale and cost, and automating administrative tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).

This is not a routine DBA role. You won’t just be maintaining databases — you’ll be engineering resilience, scaling for performance, and driving real optimization across platforms.

We're looking for a database expert who can dive deep into infrastructure, code, and cloud. Someone who can not only manage systems — but evolve them.

Your Responsibilities

You’ll join a multidisciplinary team where performance, availability, and data integrity are essential. Your role spans traditional DBA tasks and more advanced advisory work, script tuning, and platform optimization.

What you'll own:

  • Set up, configure, and maintain enterprise-grade RDBMS platforms including

    Oracle , Microsoft SQL Server , and PostgreSQL .

  • Manage and optimize cloud-hosted databases, ensuring high availability , cost efficiency , and scalability .

  • Conduct SQL performance tuning — from rewriting queries to refining indexes and execution plans.

  • Analyze and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks; perform root cause analysis (RCA) and provide actionable solutions.

  • Review, refactor, and advise on SQL scripts from developers and engineering teams.

  • Define and implement strategies for data retention , archival , and secure deletion .

  • Automate monitoring, backup, and administrative tasks using Python , PowerShell , Bash , or other scripting tools.

  • Enforce database access control, encryption, and compliance with regulatory standards.

What You Bring:

We’re looking for a performance-minded DBA who goes beyond the basics. You know what makes a system fast, stable, and secure — and you know how to fix it when it’s not.

Your profile:

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in database administration .

  • Proven expertise with Oracle RDBMS , SQL Server (MSSQL) , and PostgreSQL in production environments.

  • Strong SQL skills with deep knowledge in script tuning , indexing , and execution plan analysis .

  • Experience advising developers on writing optimized SQL queries.

  • Familiar with NoSQL technologies (e.g., MongoDB , Cassandra ) (nice to have ).

  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms and managing cloud-native database services (e.g., AWS , Azure , etc.).

  • Able to perform RCA and clearly communicate findings and recommendations to cross-functional teams.

  • Skilled in using scripting tools to automate administrative and operational workflows.
