Beecroft Animal Specialist & Emergency Hospital is Singapore’s leading independent referral hospital, conveniently located near Labrador Park MRT. Our expert team includes specialists in surgery, internal medicine, neurology, exotic companion mammals, and cardiology. We operate a fully equipped 24/7 Emergency & Critical Care (ECC) department, providing advanced diagnostics, personalized treatments, and compassionate care. Our facilities include state-of-the-art imaging, surgical theatres, hydrotherapy, and rehabilitation services, supporting our mission to improve both patient outcomes and the quality of life for pets and their families.
The Role
We are seeking an Emergency & Critical Care Night Team Lead to oversee night operations and drive clinical excellence. This role blends hands-on clinical work with team leadership, ensuring smooth night shift operations, high-quality patient care, and continuous staff development.
Supervise and mentor the ECC night team, including onboarding and training.
Oversee diagnostic imaging (CT, X-ray, ultrasound) and equipment maintenance.
Manage patient anaesthesia, monitoring, and recovery.
Develop and implement SOPs to standardize workflows.
Plan team schedules and coordinate payroll.
Ensure accurate, timely interpretation of diagnostic images and reports.
Work closely with clinical leaders to optimize patient flow.
Support client communication and uphold Beecroft’s service standards.
Contribute to continuous professional development and a positive team culture.
Reporting Line: ECC HOD & Head of Operations
Working Hours: Night shifts, 7 pm – 7 am, alternate 3/4-day work week, including weekends and public holidays.
What We’re Looking For
Degree/Diploma in Veterinary Technology or equivalent nursing qualification.
7+ years of veterinary industry experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong clinical skills in emergency and critical care.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
