Job Description
We are seeking a
Product Compliance & Risk Manager
to join our growing Product Compliance & Risk team in APAC (South-East Asia). This role focuses on developing and enhancing Wise products for Business customers in South-East Asia. It offers a unique opportunity to impact Wise’s mission and help save money for millions.
This is a first-line Product Compliance & Risk role, embedded within the APAC Product Squad. You will collaborate with the team in South-East Asia to:
Create and improve products for Business customers:
Understand regulatory needs, translate them into solutions, and work with Product Teams to build compliant, customer-oriented products.
Regulatory analysis and controls:
Analyze new products and services for regulatory compliance and ensure controls are in place before launch.
Regulatory Risk and Remediation
Support Product and other teams in interpreting regulatory requirements, improving processes, and avoiding breaches or incidents, by understanding both Wise products and local regulations.
Collaborate with Compliance and Risk teams to identify main regulatory issues in South-East Asia, communicate clearly, and develop solutions.

Qualifications
Must have:
Expertise in regulatory compliance, especially in financial regulation within South-East Asia
Experience in FinTech or financial regulation roles (e.g., consultancy, compliance)
Ability to interpret complex regulatory frameworks and apply them effectively
Problem-solving skills, using regulation and data to inform decisions
Strong project execution skills with attention to detail
Fluency in English and legal authorization to work in Singapore
Willingness to travel across countries
Preferred Skills:
Collaborative team player with stakeholder management skills
Passion for problem-solving and product development
Effective communicator with practical recommendations
Additional language skills in South-East Asia are a plus
