Senior Social Work Professional

The role of a Senior Social Work Professional is multifaceted and requires a high level of expertise in mentoring, supervision, and casework management.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with residents, staff members, and other professionals involved in the care and rehabilitation process.

Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and supervise a team of social workers to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality support to residents.
  • Manage a caseload as assigned by the Head of Home and provide individualised casework services to residents.
  • Develop and facilitate group work programs for residents, working closely with the social team to promote rehabilitation and reintegration into the community.
  • Monitor residents' progress and develop Individualised Care Plans tailored to their unique needs and goals.
  • Coordinate social services through case management approaches, collaborating with other professionals and non-professionals involved in the care of residents.
  • Conduct home visits for safety assessments and prepare reports for relevant meetings.
  • Assist and oversee the development and implementation of programs and events related to residents' rehabilitation, wellbeing, and volunteers' management.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and reports on program evaluations and reviews.
