Great Eastern is seeking a Risk Management professional to specialise in Compliance & Governance. The role involves surveillance, investigations, training and policy review to ensure regulatory compliance and mitigate risk. Responsibilities Perform assessments of representatives identified through the Compliance Monitoring Program and AI models. Use analytical skills, data mining tools, and business knowledge to identify anomalies, risk patterns, and relationships in data. Report identified issues to a supervisor, ensuring timely action and appropriate escalation to the investigation team. Collaborate with data scientists to evaluate and improve dashboards and models. Conduct investigations from start to finish, ensuring conclusions are based on comprehensive evidence. Obtain and review evidence to support well-documented conclusions. Identify and communicate issues, offering recommended solutions relevant to business and risk. Issue enforcement actions as warranted based on findings. Prepare management reports related to investigation findings. Prepare information for FIDReC mediation and adjudication sessions. Conduct scheduled and ad‐hoc inspections and prepare inspection findings reports. Provide training and updates to the agency force on Market Misconduct and risk & compliance matters. Review, write and formalise SOPs and related processes. Maintain awareness of industry trends and emerging threats, sharing best practices. Take accountability for business and regulatory compliance risks, implementing measures to mitigate them. Qualifications Degree holder in any discipline (preferably with relevant work experience). Prior experience in investigation or surveillance with a compliance department in the financial industry. Good knowledge of MAS and FAA rules & regulations and/or sales experience in the financial industry. Proficient in MS Office applications. Ability to multi‐task and prioritise while maintaining standards and accuracy. Strong analytical skills, meticulous, self‐motivated and a good problem‐solver. Good interpersonal, communication and organisational ability. Proficient in report writing and presentation skills. Team player with a high level of integrity and accountability.
