Responsibilities:
Batch Job Scheduling & Monitoring
Schedule and monitor SAP batch jobs to ensure timely and accurate execution.
Use job scheduling tools to manage job execution and ensure SLA compliance.
Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution
Identify and resolve issues related to batch job failures or delays.
Collaborate with technical and functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes.
Optimization & Automation
Analyze batch job performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.
Develop and maintain scripts for automation and proactive monitoring.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain detailed documentation of batch job schedules, configurations, and processes.
Generate regular reports on job performance, SLAs, and incidents.
Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand batch processing needs.
Provide training and support to end-users on batch job functionalities and best practices.
Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or in related fields
Excellent SAP techno-functional knowledge with the ability to bridge business and technical requirements.
Proven experience in Batch Management within SAP environments.
Hands-on experience with SAP job scheduling tools (e.g., SM36, SM37, Redwood, etc.).
Experience in SAP implementation or support projects involving batch operations.
