Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications for vision systems.

The successful candidate will be involved in designing and developing PC-based automated visual inspection systems for a range of semiconductor equipment. They will also evaluate the feasibility of customer vision specifications and integrate new vision hardware onto existing software.

The role involves troubleshooting and improving processing time, providing technical support to internal and external customers, and changing vision inspection algorithms to improve inspection capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and electronic engineering or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in software development and automation machine system troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop PC-based automated visual inspection systems
  • Evaluate feasibility of customer vision specifications
  • Integrate new vision hardware onto existing software
  • Troubleshoot and improve processing time
  • Provide technical support to internal and external customers
  • Change vision inspection algorithms to improve inspection capabilities

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in software development and automation machine system troubleshooting
  • Strong understanding of semi-conductor manufacturing process, vision inspection settings, and machine software settings
  • Experience working with end customers and technical troubleshooting
