Job Overview:
We are looking for an individual with a passion for science who is highly motivated. A successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team of researchers working at the forefront of quantum technologies. In this position, you will be a member of the Quantum Photonics and Information group and mainly work on continuous variable (CV) based on quantum information technology.
In this role, you will work on the following responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Development of high-performance sources to generate squeezed light.
Characterizing the squeezed light.
Research in continuous variable (CV) quantum information.
Generation and characterization of large cluster states.
Collaborating with other group members to exploit the advantages of CV quantum systems in various applications.
Quantum metrology and sensing.
Data processing, programming, and automation of lab setups.
Scientific dissemination through journal papers, conferences, and patents.
Job Requirements:
PhD degree in physics, optics, or closely related fields.
Relevant experience or PhD training is welcome.
Substantial hands-on experience in experimental research in quantum optics and quantum information is advantageous.
Familiarity with laboratory equipment for quantum optics experiments, including lasers, optical components, and detectors.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to present research findings clearly and concisely.
A passion for advancing quantum science and technology and contributing to groundbreaking research.
Self-motivated and passionate about research work.
Ability to independently plan and execute research tasks.
Good team player with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
