Key Responsibilities Design & Engineering: Develop detailed outfitting and architectural design for offshore platforms, accommodation modules, and utility areas. Create 2D arrangement drawings, 3D models, and detailed room layouts for living quarters, offices, control rooms, workshops, and recreational areas. Design HVAC systems, lighting arrangements, furniture layouts, and interior finishes suitable for offshore marine environment. Prepare equipment selection and specifications for outfitting components including galley equipment, sanitary systems, and cabin furnishings. Technical Management: Coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical, and piping disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions. Perform space optimization studies to maximize accommodation capacity while maintaining safety compliance. Develop material take-off lists and bill of materials for procurement support. Review and approve vendor drawings, equipment specifications, and installation procedures. Project Support: Provide procurement technical support including bidding document preparation, bid evaluation, and clarification responses. Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and quality assurance activities for outfitting equipment. Coordinate with fabrication yards on installation sequences and construction methodologies. Prepare detailed engineering drawings to support production and installation phases. Compliance & Standards: Ensure compliance with offshore accommodation standards including IMO SOLAS, MLC, and client-specific requirements. Design fire‐resistant arrangements and emergency escape routes in accordance with offshore safety regulations. Incorporate ergonomic principles and crew welfare considerations in accommodation design. Experience Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline. Minimum 8‐12 years experience in offshore accommodation and outfitting design. Proficiency in 3D modeling software (CADMATIC, AutoCAD, Aveva) and Microsoft Office applications. Strong understanding of shipbuilding processes and offshore construction methodologies.
