Postdoctoral Researcher (Chemistry) – AI for RNA Therapeutics and Delivery Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore College of Computing and Data Science & Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine We are seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher (Chemistry)to join our group’s AI for RNA Therapeutics initiative, an interdisciplinary program combining chemical synthesis , molecular design , and artificial intelligence to accelerate the discovery of next-generation RNA delivery systems. If you are a chemist passionate about translating your synthesis expertise into real-world biomedical impact, we would love to have you on boardAbout the Role You will play a central role in developing and synthesizing new chemical entities for RNA delivery, including: Design and synthesis of lipid nanoparticles (LNPs)and novel targeting components. Chemical conjugation of targeting molecular ligands to lipids or nucleic acids. Development of formulation libraries for high-throughput screening and optimization. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team spanning AI scientists, biologists, and material scientists to integrate synthesis data into AI-driven design loops. Preferred Expertise PhD in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Chemical Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering , or related fields. Hands‐on experience in lipid synthesis , bioconjugation , or formulation chemistry (e.g., LNPs, micelles, or polymeric nanoparticles). Familiarity with analytical techniques (NMR, LC‐MS, HPLC, DLS, etc.). A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for interdisciplinary work bridging chemistry, biology, and AI.
