BIM Coordinator

Job Description The role involves preparing and amending schematic, detailed and production drawings; developing solutions to technical and design issues on-site; and creating 2D/3D CAD/BIM designs for presentations and submission purposes. The candidate will compute basic technical calculations as required by projects, liaise with clients, authorities, consultants and subcontractors to ensure smooth coordination, participate in technical, design and consultant meetings to keep drawings and designs up to date, lead and mentor junior CAD/BIM colleagues, and perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management/supervisor. Responsibilities Prepare and amend schematic, detailed and production drawings Develop solutions to solve technical and design issues as per on-site basis Prepare 2D/3D CAD/BIM designs for presentations submission purposes Able to compute basic technical calculations as per project requirements Liaise with Clients, Authorities, Consultants, Subcontractors to ensure smooth coordination in project Attend all technical, design and consultants meetings to understand the latest on-site requirements and ensure drawings and designs are up to date Lead and mentor junior CAD/BIM colleagues Other ad-hoc duties and tasks as assigned by Management/Direct Supervisor Job Requirements To possess a Diploma or Degree in Engineering or equivalent At least 3 years of related working experience Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Design, Art/Creative, and Information Technology Industries: Civil Engineering #J-18808-Ljbffr
