Position: Social Media Video Creator (Freelance, Remote)

We are looking for a creative and resourceful Social Media Video Creator to join our team on a freelance basis. This role is ideal for someone who loves storytelling, understands the latest social media trends, and can bring SparksMag's playful, educational brand to life through engaging short-form video content.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality short-form videos (e.g., Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) that align with SparksMag's brand identity.
  • Work with raw footage (captured independently or provided) to create engaging, polished videos.
  • Conceptualize fun, creative ways to showcase our products, workshops, and community activities.
  • Stay updated with social media video trends and recommend fresh content ideas.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in video editing (portfolio or sample works required).
  • Strong sense of storytelling and visual aesthetics.
  • Skilled in video editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar).
  • Basic filming skills (comfortable with lighting, framing, and sound for social media-level production).
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and trends, especially TikTok and Instagram.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
