Network Infrastructure Specialist

Job Description

This role requires a highly skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing network incidents, escalations, and security responses.

You will work closely with infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and identify root causes of network issues. Your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills will enable you to proactively identify potential network problems and prevent them.

This is a challenging role that requires the ability to work under pressure and make timely decisions to minimize business impact.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Networking, or related field
  • 8+ years of professional working experience focusing on Network
  • 5+ years of network operation experience
  • Expertise in network protocols, architectures, and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS, MP-BGP, EVPN)
  • In-depth understanding of networking concepts – Routing, switching, LAN/WAN, Spanning Tree protocol, HSRP, ARP, VLAN, Inter-VLAN Routing, OSPF, BGP, VxLAN, Cisco ACI, VxLAN BGP eVPN, SDA, SDWAN, etc.
  • Hands-on experience on routers and switches for advanced troubleshooting of network-related problems and incidents
  • Advanced hands-on experience on troubleshooting complex network problems
  • Logical and analytical thinking and problem analysis skills to troubleshoot complex network problems to isolate the root cause and provide suitable resolution
  • Strong problem-solving skills and positive attitude
  • Excellent team player and strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • CCIE Certification is a must
  • Data center experience is good to have
