For those who are analytical, bilingual, and ready to step into a buy-side environment that rewards precision and curiosity — this is an opportunity worth exploring Your Tasks You will work side‑by‑side with experienced portfolio managers to deliver best‑in‑class execution across equities, futures, and custom baskets. Beyond daily trading, you’ll develop a deep understanding of market structure, learn to anticipate price movements, and contribute to the refinement of execution strategies. Executing equity, futures, and custom basket trades efficiently and accurately. Monitoring risk limits and ensuring all activities remain within compliance boundaries. Tracking intraday market conditions and adapting strategies in real time. Managing short‑selling operations, including borrowing and returns of shares. Handling IPO/PO applications and certain corporate actions. Reconciling positions and trade data across OEMS and PMS systems. Preparing monthly market analysis for investors. Supporting automation and process‑improvement projects within the trading desk. Providing assistance in risk management and marketing‑related initiatives where trading insights are valuable. Candidate Requirements Experience: 1–3 years in trading, operations, or financial markets; or strong academic grounding in finance/economics. Mid‑career professionals with analytical or quantitative backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Language: Business‑level Japanese (JLPT N2 preferred). JLPT N3/N4 candidates with strong commitment to improving fluency will be considered. Technical: Strong Excel skills are a must. Familiarity with VBA, Python, or SQL is an advantage. Personal: Highly detail‑oriented, collaborative, and calm under pressure. You enjoy working in fast‑moving environments where accuracy and timing matter.
