Position Preschool Teaching Assistant – Floating – Immediate start Responsibilities Embrace all aspects of school life Work enthusiastically and passionately with children Collaborate with the class teacher, parents and children to ensure a safe and welcoming environment Develop respectful relationships with children, parents and teachers Be responsible and accountable for the supervision of children at all times Plan and prepare classroom activities, portfolios and school events with the classroom teacher Co‐operate with parents and other members of the school community Assist in the routine care of children Communicate with parents, teachers and the school community Support a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement Demonstrate the highest levels of honesty, integrity and professionalism Attend staff meetings, collaborative planning meetings and other school events when required (professional development)Requirements Experience working with children aged 2‐6 years Good English skills – spoken and written (required)German language is a bonus Comfortable working with any age group Be proactive and not require detailed instructions or plans Have an engaging and attentive disposition with a passion to work with young children The ability to approach people in a friendly and welcoming manner Must demonstrate strong work ethics and possess a positive working attitude and be a great team player Have strategies for behavioural challenges and be able to support or occasionally shadow children who have challenges (ad‐hoc)Application Please include the following: an updated CV and a cover letter explaining your reasons for applying.
