Support Staff Wanted

We are seeking a diligent cleaner to contribute to providing children with the best possible start in life.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school premises.

  • Ensure all areas including classrooms, common spaces, offices and toilets are kept clean at all times
  • Clean and maintain cubbies, storage areas and entrance doors as well as windows and other equipment
  • Regularly disinfect tables, chairs and other apparatus
  • Restock supplies such as toilet paper, soap and cleaning materials as needed
  • Dispose of waste and ensure bins are cleared and sanitized on a daily basis
  • Comply with relevant health, safety and hygiene regulations as stipulated by ECDA/NEA guidelines

Additional responsibilities may include assisting in the kitchen with tasks such as bringing food to classrooms for meals and washing children's utensils after snacks.

  • Prior experience as a cleaner preferably in a preschool, childcare centre, healthcare or hospitality environment is an advantage but not mandatory
  • Must be physically fit and able to handle cleaning equipment and tasks
  • Responsible and reliable individual committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Basic understanding of hygiene and sanitation practices training will be provided
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable working in a preschool environment with children and staff
