Talent Development An exciting Head of Finance position has opened up with our Client, a globally loved multi-store brand. The Head of Finance is a strategic, hands‑on, and participative leader responsible for the Financial management of the Singapore entity. This position is responsible for the accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, and audit functions of the organization, and will be leading many mission‑critical transformative projects to streamline this function and optimise it for a rapidly changing business environment. A member of the Country Leadership Team, this position plays a critical role in strategic decision making, working in close partnership with the Managing Director to ensure highest standards of business performance, and highlighting the financial implications of commercial and strategic plans and decisions. Areas of Responsibility Oversees the provision of all financial information, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow information, customer and brand performance and profitability, operating cost performance and working capital performance Ensures that adequate financial and operational control procedures are in place and delivers compliance with all group and external requirements. Ensures that all local statutory obligations on reporting & filing are met and manages the end to end audit process Oversees budgeting, forecasting, analysis and business planning processes. Provides thorough financial assessment of business proposals and a robust and consistent commercial and financial service to the business Manages and develops the local team in order to ensure the above is achieved and to ensure that their individual job accountabilities are also met Manages all local financial stakeholder relationships, eg audit, banking, company secretariat Supervises and manages all aspects of Admin, and IT within the company Leads all Financial transformation projects including Shared Services / COE initiatives, automation, digitisation and AI led process streamlining Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, ideally with a CPA / CA and over 15 years finance experience, minimum 5 years’ experience leading the Finance department Prior experience working within a Multi‑Store Fashion/Sports/Retail organisations, QSR, Convenience Store Chains, Pharmacy Brands would be highly preferred. Experience of successfully working in roles with a high degree of cross functional involvement, under stringent deadlines with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility An innovative approach to problem solving and analysis, business acumen and ability to gain knowledge across business functions Highly energetic individual to keep up with the fast paced environment Business Transformative experience including automation, digitisation, setting up shared services and other projects to enhance efficiencies and optimise for changing business environment A strong leader with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a collaborative style, who can be an integral part of management, and an inspiring leader to his team To apply, please submit your resume to: , quoting the job title.
