Key Responsibilities Deliver end-to-end features, including APIs, Lambda functions, and backend services from technical specifications. Review requirements and user stories for feasibility, scope, and risks; propose practical alternatives when needed. Investigate and resolve production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement resilient fixes with appropriate testing. Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices in performance, accessibility, and security. Lead and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality standards. Partner with Business Analysts to refine acceptance criteria and clarify requirements to ensure business value delivery. Contribute actively to Agile ceremonies (backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) and provide accurate task estimates. Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, feature flags, and observability for safe, frequent deployments. Qualifications & Experience Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Experience: At least 6 years of relevant experience, including:4+ years in backend development.2+ years of hands-on Node.js and AWS Lambda experience. Technical Skills:Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript/JavaScript.Proven experience with AWS architecture (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB/RDS, CloudWatch).Familiarity with event-driven design (idempotency, DLQs, retries, backoff).Experience with caching layers (Redis).Strong understanding of OAuth/OIDC authentication flows and token management.Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, etc.).Hands-on experience with Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines.Understanding of OWASP security practices and regulated environments (audit trails, PII).Excellent system design and debugging skills. Soft Skills:Strong leadership and stakeholder communication skills.Proactive, analytical, and collaborative working style.Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
