Nitec in Chemical Process Technology/Mechanical Technology/Electrical Technology (GPA > 2.0) OR Higher Nitec in Biotechnology/Chemical Technology/Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering
Language requirement:
Written and spoken fluency in English
Other requirement:
Must enroll with GSK’s partnering educational institution in the preferred related instruction course; must be able to commute daily to the GSK manufacturing facility and to the education institution when required for classes
Expected start date:
February 2026

Responsibilities
Spend time working in the manufacturing facility learning how to operate and maintain equipment and utility systems with guidance from in-house experts.
Learn safety and risk management to operate equipment safely and efficiently so medicines and vaccines can be delivered to patients.
Have a dedicated personal training programme to develop and progress over the 30 months of the apprenticeship.
Operate and maintain equipment in the manufacture and packaging of pharmaceutical products.
Support the operation of solvent recovery and effluent treatment processes that support manufacturing.
Perform routine preventive maintenance and troubleshoot breakdowns.
Participate in continuous improvement projects to optimize processes.
Carry out root cause analysis and solve breakdowns (First touch engineering).
Collect, analyse and trend data to drive innovation.
Assist in new product and equipment introductions.
Ensure quality, safety and accuracy in all activities.
