We are looking for a motivated solution architect to drive the development of enterprise architecture to harmonise the applications, operational, data and infrastructure systems within JTC. You will work with a team of solution architects to understand all systems technical requirements and design a solution the best fits the JTC environment, taking into consideration existing technical architecture, compliance and policy requirements.
Job Scope
Assist and lead the enterprise architecture strategy, that facilitates the development and implementation of application systems that operates across on premise, government cloud (GCC) and SaaS
Appreciate and augment enterprise applications system architectures to meet business requirements and streamline governance, policy implementations
Guide project teams and co-develop system technical architecture that leverage on latest best of breeds tech stack solutions ranging from open web frameworks to iPaaS solutions
Assist in the migration of on premise applications to government cloud environments
Provide technical advise to applications and end user teams for onboarding of COTS or equivalent solutions onto JTC environments, which involves system/API/connector-based integration
Requirements
Possesses relevant qualifications in Computer Science, software engineering or related field
Possesses a minimum of 5 years' working experience with network administration in hardware, software and 2 or more cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS
Possesses extensive knowledge of application systems architecture (WAF, Load balancer compute and databases etc), operating systems, system security, database management and web platforms.
Possesses above average awareness of business operations and ability to adopt a wide variety of software solutions such as Content Management, Document Management and Microsoft / Azure cloud front/back-office solutions
Possesses strong Project Management and teamwork skills with excellent communications with ability to explain technical information in layman terms
Has a positive mindset and provide superb customer service
Possesses problem solving skills and ability to multitask
Ability to lead technical architect teams and manage cross team projects with infrastructure and cybersecurity teams, is a plus
