Position Summary The Youth Worker will play a crucial role in implementing Resilient Minds programs within schools, working closely with at-risk students to provide guidance, support, and a positive, trusting environment. Students will be engaged in meaningful activities after school hours in the school's student activity centre, fulfilling social‐moral experiences, engaging physical experiences and quality aesthetic experiences. Location: Yio Chu Kang Secondary Sec 1 and 2 The Catalyst Programme during school hours 1 hour 10 minutes (Est.) per session x 30 sessions (must commit to full year)$40 per session. The programme should achieve the following objectives: To equip students with core social‐emotional learning (SEL) competencies — self‐awareness, self‐management, social awareness, relationship management, and responsible decision‐making. To provide students with authentic experiences that develop their character, resilience, and ability to navigate challenges positively. To foster a strong sense of identity, belonging, and connectedness to the school community. To build positive peer relationships through meaningful interactions, teamwork, and collaboration. To nurture peer leadership and interpersonal skills that enable students to influence and support others constructively. To encourage reflective thinking and self‐discovery, helping students understand their strengths, emotions, and aspirations.
