Key Responsibilities Collaborate with team members in the design and development of experimental electric aircraft. Co-develop a complete high-voltage electrical architecture (greater than 400 volts) with other team members. Lead, supervise, and mentor the team in the assembly of the electric research aircraft, ensuring strict adherence to project timelines and milestones. Provide hands-on support in assembling the electric research aircraft and give clear, instructional guidance to the team members. Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive safety protocols for the assembly, maintenance, repair, and testing of high-voltage electric aircraft systems. Participate in flight testing of the electric research aircraft and ensure the aircraft meets all safety and airworthiness standards. Assist in the analysis of flight test data to support further development and optimization. Job Requirements Candidate must have minimum of 20 years of hands-on experience in developing, assembling, maintaining, and troubleshooting engine-powered, electric, and hybrid vehicles. At least 10 years of professional experience performing mechanical work on car chassis. Proven experience in teaching or training others on high-voltage systems in automotive applications. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members under minimal supervision. Willingness to work beyond standard office hours when project timelines are critical; this role demands reliability and the ability to deliver results under tight deadlines. Preference will be given to Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents due to the need to work with Singapore government agencies and undertake international travel.
