What the role is
As a Senior Enforcement Inspector / Enforcement Specialist, you will be part of a team to undertake a range of challenging enforcement activities to safeguard public health.
What you will be working on
Provide effective management and leadership to investigation officers
Plan and oversee inspections and routine enforcement checks
Conduct raids, gather intelligence on syndicates, execute field operations against offenders
Conduct investigations and surveillance operations for possible offences under the Acts and Regulations within the ambit of Health Sciences Authority (HSA)
Assist to develop and review workflow and collaborations with other Groups / departments and submission of reports
Assist to develop and review SOPs internally and with external agencies
Assist to identify lapses and areas where illegal activities can occur
Liaise and collaborate with international police organisations (e.g. Interpol) and overseas counterparts on investigation matters
Liaise with HSA's prosecutorial team and/or Attorney General's Chambers on investigation matters
Arrest offenders and accused persons, if necessary
Execute warrant of arrest of offenders who fail to attend court
Arrange meetings with external agencies to coordinate enforcement activities and provide situational updates
Assist in the preparation of documents for the purpose of prosecuting cases in court
What we are looking for
Relevant working experience in an enforcement field or uniformed services preferred
Strong command of English as well as good writing skills
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to work both independently as well as a team player
Adept at both operations and staff work
Experience in system design, data analytics or integration of digital technologies into work processes will be advantageous
